Course Etiquette, Rules, and Regulations

  • USGA rules govern all play.
  • Proper golf attire required at all times.
  • All players must check-in at the Clubhouse prior to play.
  • All play will begin on hole #1 unless otherwise approved by staff.
  • Don’t mess with Texas. Properly dispose of trash, cigarette and cigar butts.
  • Do not drive in the Native Grass on and around the course.
  • 90 degree cart rule in effect at all times unless otherwise noted.
  • Carts must remain on paths within 30 yards of all tees and greens, and at all time on par 3 holes.
  • Permanent and temporary cart signage and markers shall not be moved at any time.
  • Allow faster players through, repair ball marks, replace divots and rake sand traps when rake is provided.
  • Please respect the rights and privacy of homeowners and their guests. All private property is ruled Out of Bounds and it is considered trespassing if player attempts to retrieve a golf ball on private property.
  • Alcohol is available for purchase on property. TABC prohibits alcoholic beverages from being brought on or taken off property.
  • Personal coolers can be used only if cleared by a Frio Valley Ranch team member.
  • You, the golfer, are responsible for the consequences of the golf ball you hit.
  • All players are responsible for any property damages, including carts, or personal injury on or off the course caused by their actions, whether intentional or not.
  • Any players and guests blatantly disregarding the rules are subject to dismissal from the property without a refund.
